Blurb:
He was my best friend, my best not-really-big-brother, and my best protector.

He was my best everything.

He was mine.

Coming home is hard for Lane. Hard because Harry, her beloved uncle, has died suddenly, but also because of him. Kale.

Kale Hunt has been her best friend since childhood. But it was never that simple. He was Lane's reason for leaving  home and moving to New York. Seeing him with someone else, in love with someone else, shouldn't have hurt. But it did. It really, really did. So she upped stick and left, started a new life and cut herself off from her past.

But now she's back, and all the feelings are right there. As if she had never left.

Emotions are running high for everyone, and tragedy has a funny way of bringing people together. But is Lane reading the signs right? Are they still just friends, or is there something more?

Review:

This is a must read book, buy it ASAP!!! This story is traumatic, gut wrenching and crying your eyes out hysterically almost every singe chapter.

This is about a young teenage female Lane and her bestie Kale, growing up sharing every little secret and always being their to to protect one another. But you know life just has to always throw in a few curve balls - after growing apart with age being slightly different, feelings being hidden and never being voiced, this story was on of those stories where you have to love the other person from afar.

This is told in both past and present to show all readers why things are the way they are in the present.

Upon reading it is not that easy to get through, so I personally suggest you have tissues on hand at all times. You will not regret reading this book by this amazing, fantastic author, Love her and her writing.
