Blurb:
The undead can really screw up your senior year...

Marrying a vampire definitely doesn't fit into Jessica Packwood's senior year "get-a-life" plan. But then a bizarre (and incredibly hot) new exchange student named Lucius Vladescu shows up, claiming that Jessica is a Romanian Vampire princess by birth -- and he's er long lost fiance. Armed with newfound confidence and a copy of Growing Up Undead: A Teen Vampire's Guide to Dating, Health, and Emotions, Jessica makes a dramatic transition from average American teenager to glam European vampire princess.
But when a devious cheerleader sets her sights on Lucius, Jess finds herself fighting to win back her wayward prince, stop a global vampire war -- and save Lucius's soul from eternal destruction.

Review:
First time she saw him fog clung to the cornfields, tails of mist slithering between the dying stalk it was morning right after labor day waiting for the school bus minding her own business. He notices that she spotted him when the bus pulled up and safely stepped on that he watched the bus drive away "Anatanasia" she heard him call her by her long forgotten birth name.

Anatanasia (or Jessica) finds out at dinner that she is a vampire and that she is to be married at 18 years old to the stranger from the school bus stop. Her parents have invited him to stay to get to know his future bride and things didn't go over to well when he told Jessica that she was Vampire, princess and his soon to be wife, she stabbed his foot with a pitch fork.

Lucius is the strangers name and he thinks that Jessica is rude, uncooperative and lacks any appreciation of her culture and certainly her duty and destiny but given time they will warm to each other and become well antiquated with one another, you can't just assume the other person wants you right there and then. Slowly Jessica learns the history of her birth parents and who she is and where she really comes from, and it is then that she realizes that she has feelings for Lucius.
